Committed to the interests and growth of small businesses, Steven Henriquez has built his accounting firm on a foundation of information, expertise and accessibility.  It is too often that the “little guys” (small and middle market businesses) are taken advantage of when it comes to financial service providers.

In 2007, Steven set out to directly provide accounting serves to small and middle market businesses, not-for-profits and individuals in South Florida, and the surrounding areas. With more than 30 years of experience, Steven and his team spend time with each client operating as an extension of the organization.  With a variety of service offerings, SJH CPA works with business owners to facilitate consistent growth through proper management of funds and strategic planning.

Steven received a Masters in Accounting from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business.  Upon returning to his hometown of Miami, he began working at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the four largest accountancy firms in the United States.  At PwC, he gained a wealth of knowledge as an Accounting Manager for middle market firms. Prior to founding SJH CPA, Steven served as a Sr. Manager at Mallah Furman from 2003 to 2007.

All of his previous work experience equipped Steven with an expansive and varied understanding of accounting, as he moved toward entrepreneurship.  His passion for helping other business owners to avoid common mistakes and getting cheated, can be seen in his fair-minded and straightforward business practices. Steven is a believer in the strength of “mom and pop” businesses, as well as the power of nonprofits to improve the world.  Not only does SJH working with numerous not-for-profit organizations, Steven personally serves on the Board of several community organizations.

Steven seeks to shed light on all of the things most people don’t know about their finances, through information from an expert whose interested in helping the little guy grow.
